Key concepts in the Law of the Athenian Democracy: Epieikeia (Equity) and parrhesia (Freedom of Speech)
Epieikeia and Parrhesia, as concepts of the Ancient Greek Law, could not be conceived without democracy. Difficulties of comprehension arise, concerning both the concepts themselves and the terms. The lecture attempts to offer a few suggestions for discussion.
